1.Who is responsible for your information

EthiCraft IAS is the educational brand founded and operated by Ved Gupta, the legal proprietor, under the registered trade name Kartavya Path Foundation. For privacy enquiries, email ved@ethicraftias.com.

2.Information we collect

When you use our website, register as a student or purchase a membership or course, we and the platforms providing those services may collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your WhatsApp or mobile number
• Preparation-stage information you select (for example, first-time aspirant, repeat aspirant, State PSC aspirant)
• The Ethics challenges and desired learning outcomes you select
• Registration, membership, purchase and order information, including the programme purchased, transaction reference, payment status and course-access records. Payments are handled by the purchase platform and its payment providers; this website does not collect full payment-card details.
• Communication preferences, consent records and support correspondence
• Campaign and source information (UTM parameters, referring website, landing page)
• Basic technical and usage information collected through cookies and analytics tools, such as pages viewed and approximate device or browser information

3.Registration and purchases through TagMango

This website collects preparation-stage, challenge and outcome selections before directing you to TagMango to complete registration. Contact details are entered on the TagMango registration page, not in the current website form. TagMango also supports membership and course purchases, onboarding and learning access. Information available to us through those services is used to fulfil your registration or purchase and provide student support. TagMango's own privacy policy and terms also apply to its processing.

4.Cookies and analytics

We use cookies, browser storage and analytics tools, including Meta Pixel, to remember your session, understand website use and measure advertising and conversion activity. Meta Pixel receives information such as page visits, button interactions and conversion events; selected preparation stage, challenge and goal may be included as custom event parameters. Meta may process this information under its own privacy policy, including for advertising measurement and personalisation. You can manage browser cookies and Meta advertising preferences. Disabling cookies may affect some website functions. This policy is a disclosure, not a substitute for any consent required by applicable law.

5.Service-related communications and use

Service-related messages concern a webinar you registered for or a membership or course you purchased. They are distinct from optional promotional messages. WhatsApp delivery remains subject to the permissions and opt-in requirements applicable to that channel.

• To confirm webinar registration and send joining links, reminders and schedule changes
• To confirm membership or course purchases and provide onboarding, access instructions, live-class links and relevant course updates
• To provide purchased or session-related learning resources and respond to student support requests
• To understand the preparation stage and challenges of our audience so the sessions can be made more useful
• To measure and improve the performance of our website and campaigns

6.Optional promotional WhatsApp and email messages

Promotional messages include offers, invitations to other programmes and marketing updates that are not needed to fulfil your current registration or purchase. Promotional WhatsApp communication requires appropriate separate, affirmative consent identifying EthiCraft IAS and the channel. Registration, a purchase or clicking a website CTA alone does not constitute this consent. Where promotional email consent is required, it must also be obtained. Declining optional promotions does not prevent registration or course access. Consent should be recorded and can be withdrawn at any time.

7.Third-party service providers

We use hosting, data-storage, email, webinar and learning-platform providers to operate our services. TagMango supports registration, purchases, memberships and course delivery. AiSensy is used for WhatsApp Business API messaging and may process recipients' phone numbers, consent preferences and message delivery information. Meta supports WhatsApp message delivery and Meta Pixel analytics and advertising measurement. We share information needed for the relevant service; providers may also process information under their own privacy policies and applicable terms. We do not sell your personal information. Providers may process information outside your country, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

8.Data storage and security

Registration data is stored with our hosting and database providers using access controls and encrypted connections. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9.Retention

We retain registration, membership, purchase and support information for as long as needed to deliver the relevant service, maintain access and resolve enquiries. Purchase records may be retained to meet accounting or legal obligations. Consent and opt-out records may be retained to document preferences and avoid further unwanted promotions. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, subject to applicable legal requirements.

10.Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, withdraw promotional consent, or object to or request limits on relevant processing. Email ved@ethicraftias.com. We may request proportionate verification of your identity before acting. We will respond within a reasonable period and explain any information we must retain for legal or service-related reasons.

11.Opting out and unsubscribing

To opt out of promotional WhatsApp messages, reply STOP or email ved@ethicraftias.com. To stop promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link where provided or email us. You may leave the WhatsApp community at any time. Withdrawing promotional consent does not cancel your registration or purchase. Necessary service-related communications may continue through an appropriate permitted channel; if you wish to stop WhatsApp service messages too, tell us by email so we can discuss an alternative for essential joining or access information.

12.Children

Our sessions are intended for adult candidates preparing for competitive examinations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
